Prof. Dr. Ernst von Schwarz, stem cell therapy expert and Catholic theologian
He's just made a bold longevity prediction

The tremendously credentialed Ernst von Schwarz says 120 is almost here, and 150 is not far off
Who we are talking about: Prof. Dr. Ernst von Schwarz, MD, PhD, FESC, FACC, FSCAI. I'll be honest with you — I don't know what many of those abbreviations stand for. But it's how the man describes himself, and with good cause.
Schwarz is a double-PhD, three-time board certified cardiologist and clinical professor with positions at UCLA and UC Riverside. He is also an expert in stem cell therapies. He has been getting a lot of attention lately for claims that within the decade, advances in stem cells will allow all of us to live to 120, and 150 is not far off.
What's the news: Schwarz has written a new book, The Secrets of Immortality: A Scientific and Theological Approach to Everlasting Life, set to be released next week. The book covers the state of longevity biotech, and what we can hope for next.
And since one of Schwarz's two PhDs is in Catholic theology, he also gives his perspective on what staying alive on Earth forever might mean for those with an eye on heaven. In case any of that's got you curious, you can preorder Schwarz's new book here.
